Our View: It was a toss up for me as to who the best dual-threat QB was in the state of Wisconsin, it just so happens that both Zack Baun and Alec Ingold are now going to be teammates on the other side of the football at Wisconsin starting this fall.

There is no denying that Baun is a dynamic athlete, as he tore up a pretty difficult schedule over the last two seasons in the Milwaukee area. However, his arm was what held him back as a quarterback and his speed is such a weapon for the Badgers defense that it was hard not to want him at outside linebacker.

He’ll need to put on a few pounds and has a lot to learn about the position, but that’s okay because the Badgers happen to be pretty deep at both outside linebacker positions.

Baun is a name to keep an eye on for the future because of his dynamic athletic ability. As long as he and Dave Aranda get on the same page after a year or two of learning this could be a name to watch. You just never know how quickly, or if ever, the transition will work out.
