Wisconsin running back Montee Ball is expected to be in full pads at practice come Monday.

Head coach Bret Bielema stated that Ball will
likely wear a green jersey for the bulk of next week and will then be able to resume full contact workouts. Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has the story.

In a poll conducted by ESPN.com’s Big Ten bloggers, players around the conference voted Camp Randall Stadium as the toughest place to play
as an opposing player. Camp Randall edged out Penn State’s Beaver Stadium by one vote to capture the honor.

The Wisconsin State Journal is reporting that former Badgers’ lineman John Moffitt will undergo surgery on his left elbow. The procedure is not expected to keep Moffitt from being ready to play in the regular season opener.

The women’s soccer team fell 1-0 to No.16 Marquette in an exhibition match last night in Milwaukee. The Badgers will begin regular season play on Friday, Aug. 17 against Notre Dame. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. at the McClimon Soccer Complex.
