The Sconnie Scoop: Delany returns to Madison

Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany returned to Madison for a tour of Wisconsin's athletic facilities. It is the first time he has spent extended time on campus since he took a preseason tour of all of the conference schools the year he accepted his position.

For those looking for a fresh perspective on just how much University of Wisocnsin athletics has flourished and changed since Delany took office, this story from Tom Mulhern of the Wisconsin State Journal details Delany's visit.

Speaking of football (it's a popular topic these days), the Badgers' season opener against UMass may still be just over two weeks away, but UW's annual Family Fun Day will provide fans and their loved ones with a chance to get their fix. Head choach Gary Andersen and Badgers players will be available for autographs Saturday from 5-7 p.m at Camp Randall Stadium. For more information about the event, click here.

Finally,it's no secret that the Badgers have some depth at linebacker. Though having to make difficult roster decisions is a good problem to have, the play of Keon Jacobs and Allen James isn't making the task any easier. Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel highlights the Badgers conundrum.
