The Sconnie Scoop: Revolving Door at Right Guard?

It's week three of fall camp for the Badgers and it appears we have a third person in the mix to start in week one at Right Guard. Yep, according to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Zac Matthais has a shot to win the RG job.

On the recruiting front the Wisconsin State Journal has a nice write up on DT Craig Evans of Sun Prairie who is high on the Badgers targets for the 2014 class. If Wisconsin lands him it could be a huge sign this class will become perhaps the single best in Badger history - at least in terms of rankings and hype.

If you have missed "The Camp" from the Wisconsin Athletic Department you wouldn't be alone, we have missed this season's look inside the team. However, our thirst was finally quenched with the release of the latest edition. It was actually pretty damn good, so we're going to share it with you:

(P.S. Did you Melvin Gordon just destroy linebackers and the secondary? This guy is going to be special)

Over at Bucky's 5th Quarter they ask if Size Matters Most in recruiting rankings. Well, if you're paying any sort of attention to that recruiting stuff the answer is pretty damn obvious, but it's worth a look see just to gander at the size of our past recruiting classes and know that bigger ones are coming down the pipeline for the Badgers.

The Wisconsin basketball team makes the Top 25 "must see" games list according to SI's Andy Glockner. Hint, it's not their Big Ten/ACC Challenge game...

Former Badger Eric Springer has a professional home for the 2012 season with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers according to a release from UW Athletics.

All I've got to say to this one is "Thank God We're not in the Big 12." Is the Big Ten perfect, far from it, but the disloyalty and shenanigans that happened over the last few seasons aren't something you'll see from Delany's Dozen anytime soon. (Side note, make sure you start checking out Delany's Dozen as Andy and Nate from our site take things over... just a few more touch ups and it's a go - so look for it to be ready by Monday at the VERY latest!)

Badgers Men's soccer gets underway this weekend with a lone road match against the Memphis Tigers, then it's back home. Check out the uwbadgers.com preview.

Enjoy this last weekend before it's football season and be on the lookout for amazing coverage all next week leading up to the season opener against Northern Iowa. ON WISCONSIN!
