After a day off for media day, it is back to the grind of two-a-days for the Wisconsin football team.

Monday morning’s practice provided the first real glimpse at the team, including Montee Ball who participated in practice on a no-contact basis. Tom Lea gets you up to speed with the headlines from the morning session.

As the quarterback battle continues to play out at fall camp, it appears as though redshirt sophomore  Joe Brennan is leaning toward exploring other options. Though Brennan did not participate in media day, head coach Bret Bielema addressed the situation on Sunday. Jim Polzin has the story.

ESPN.com’s Adam Rittenberg unveiled his list of the top secondary units in the conference. Wisconsin tips the scales at No. 7, understandable considering the personnel questions that remain after a week of practices.

In Olympic news, current or former Big Ten athletes came back from the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London with a total of 35 medals. However, none of them were Wisconsin alumni. There’s always Sochi, right?
