Badgers grab 2nd cornerback from South Oak Cliff

Wisconsin coaches got a surprising start to their weekend, as not only did Takadrae Williams commit to the Badgers, but just a few short hours later fellow cornerback X’zaviae Ausborne did the same.

After not landing a single player from the state of Texas in the last five years, Wisconsin’s first dip in to the talent-rich state has paid off. While Williams brings size and athleticism to the Badgers, it’s hard to not recognize the raw speed of the 2-star Ausborne.

Badger247 is reporting that Ausborne as been clocked at 4.29 seconds in the 40-yard dash and owns a 10.6 100-yard dash time this current track season in Texas.

Here is the film on Ausborne:

In the span of a few hours the Badgers managed to change the way cornerbacks are looked at at Wisconsin. Gone will be the two deep style corners UW has played with in the past, and replacing them will be long, athletic and fast corners.
