UW gets commitment from 3-star QB Kare’ Lyles

Home is where the heart is, and for 3-star quarterback Kare’ Lyles a return back to Madison appears to be what he’d like to do for college. The Badgers’ legacy lived in the Madison area until 2012, when the family moved to Scottsdale, Ariz.

With Kare’s dad playing with Wisconsin offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph, the connections ran deep and appeared to have paid off for the 3-star signal caller.

Lyles gave head coach Paul Chryst a great gift just days after receiving an offer from UW with a verbal commitment after visiting campus.

Last season Lyle’s lit up the Arizona skies, passing for over 3,400 yards, completing 71 percent of his passes and throwing 40 touchdown passes for one of the state’s biggest programs in Saguaro high school.

He is the No. 56-ranked pro-style quarterback by the 247Sports composite rankings, while also ranking in the top 10 of players in the state of Arizona.

Here is a look at the updated 2016 scholarship chart with Lyles’ commitment:
